The University of Queensland Art Museum

CHE has developed and fostered a long partnership with The University of Queensland Art Museum, which has resulted in a number of significant creative projects and associated events. These have included a CHE-led production of Johann Christoph Pepusch's masque Venus and Adonis, with a libretto by Colley Cibber, 1715. Additionally, a major collaborative exhibition, 'Five Centuries of Melancholia', titled after Albrecht Dürer's famous engraving Melancholia I of 1514, explored the ways melancholy has been invoked as a condition, perspective, and mood from the Renaissance onward.
