Solomon's Knot is an innovative UK-based vocal ensemble whose adventurous performances seek to break down the barriers between performer and spectator. CHE's partnership with this group resulted in the performance of a Jesuit Drama dating from 1698, Mulier fortis, which describes the life and death of the 16th-century Japanese Jesuit martyr Gracia Hosokawa. This performance formed part of the conference 'Changing Hearts: Performing Jesuit Emotions between Europe, Asia and the Americas', which was jointly organised by the CHE headquarters at University of Western Australia and Trinity College, Cambridge UK, 7–8 March 2014.
