The Perth Medieval and Renaissance Group and the UWA Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies,  invites you to a lunchtime seminar with Professor Eileen Joy (Southern Illinois University) on the future of medieval/medievalism studies and publishing.

Professor Joy will be visiting UWA for the Shakespeare and Emotions Conference, as a Distinguished Visitor for the ARC Centre for the History of Emotions.

"I am a specialist in Old English literary studies and cultural studies, with interests in poetry and poetics, historiography, ethics, affects, embodiments, queer studies, the politics of friendship, speculative realism, and the post/human. I am the Co-Founder and Lead Ingenitor of the BABEL Working Group, the Founder and Co-Editor of postmedieval, Co-Founder and Co-Editor of O-Zone, and the Co-Founder and Director of punctum books.
