Kathryn Prince

Kathryn Prince was the leader of CHE’s UWA node and the director of the Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies at UWA in 2019. She was the editor of Shakespeare Bulletin (the international journal of Shakespeare in performance), and an associate professor in English and Literary Studies. Her research interests are Shakespeare in performance, theatre practice as a form of scholarly research, and the History of Emotions as an approach to both performance practice and play analysis. Her current contracted projects include writing a monograph (Shakespeare and Emotions in Practice), co-writing another (Shakespeare's England, with David Dean), and co-editing a major collection of essays (The Arden Handbook of Shakespeare in Contemporary Performance, with Peter Kirwan).
