Anna Haebich

Anna Haebich is a member of CHE’s Advisory Board. She is a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University, researching Aboriginal cultural history in Australia, past and present. A multi-award-winning Australian author and historian, Anna is recognised for her research and work with Aboriginal communities. Her career combines academia, curatorship, creative writing and the arts. She is a Fellow and former Vice-President and Council member of the Australian Academy of Humanities and Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences. Anna’s most recent publication is Dancing in Shadows: Histories of Nyungar Performance (UWA Publishing, 2018).
