Zest Festival 2013

The Centre for the History of Emotions supports the Zest Festival, run by the Kalbarri Development Association. The Zest Festival, held annually from 2012 to 2016, is a weekend celebrating cultural contact from the seventeenth-century Dutch to the present. Missed out in 2012?...Join us in 2013 as we explore connections with South Africa!

This year’s Zest Festival on September 21 and 22 will feature performance artists, an internationally acclaimed opera singer, fine dining, art and film, as well as markets, games, horse riding safari, adventure race, biodiversity walks and more. The "Binding Realities" sculpture exhibition will showcase sculptures in a curated exhibition on the Murchison River Foreshore over the Zest Festival weekend while an exhibition titled "Far from Home" will involve a curated display of objects and their associated stories from September 21 to 29.
