In the third study day exploring the emotions in Middle English literature, we will examine a range of medieval texts, including Sir Orfeo, Troilus and Criseyde, Handlyng Synne, Pearl, Robin Hood and the Monk and The Awntyrs off Arthure at the Terne Wathlyn. Leading the discussion will be Stephanie Downes (Melbourne), Rebecca McNamara (Sydney), John Ganim (UC Riverside), Melissa Raine (Melbourne), Stephen Knight (Melbourne), Andrew Lynch (UWA) and Louise D’Arcens (Wollongong).
