Emeritus Professor John Alfred Scott is an Associate Investigator (2014) based at The University of Western Australia. After studying at Oxford University where he earned First Class Honours in Italian and French, 1950 and a Masters in 1957, Scott taught Italian studiesĀ at the University of California at Berkeley from 1957-1961, the University of Reading from 1961-1977, and at The University of Western Australia from 1978-1997. He has been an Emeritus Professor and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia, from 1998 to the present.
For his AI research during 2014, Professor Scott produced an article, 'Avarice in Dante and His Age' with a case study of the Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padua, which has been accepted by Dante Studies.
