Jasmin Parasiers

Jasmin is a part-time PhD candidate at The University of Adelaide. She completed her BA (Hons) in History with The University of Adelaide in 2010 and holds a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning. For her Honours’ thesis, she explored the changing representations of the Devil after the Protestant Reformation within England and the associated relationship between religion, fear and social control. Her current exploration continues to examine how social fears and anxieties were used in Early Modern England to shape identity with particular emphasis on miscreant youth.
