Claudia Ulbrich

Claudia Ulbrich is a member of CHE's Advisory Board, and Professor Emerita of Early Modern History and Gender History at the Freie Universität Berlin, partner institution of the Centre, specialising in the history of early modern emotions, transcultural self-narratives, gender  and Christian-Jewish relations. She is the author of Shulamit and Margarete. Power, Gender and Religion in a Rural Society in Eighteenth-Century Europe, transl. by Thomas Dunlap (Brill 2004).  She is on the advisory board of Ego-documents and History (Brill) and member of the editorial boards of L’HOMME. European Journal of Feminist History; and Selbstzeugnisse der Neuzeit (Böhlau).
